Each of Solidyn Solutions’ leaders maintains extensive backgrounds, certifications and expertise in a variety of important fields. They also bring years of experience working with customers within the U.S. Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. With a shared core vision of assembling the finest engineering experts, Solidyn Solutions' leadership is committed to providing high-value, cost-effective systems and solutions for our nation’s missions.

Michael Pearson – Co-Owner and President

Co-Founder and President, Michael Pearson has been involved in software engineering and systems development in the defense and intelligence community for over 27 years. Prior to forming Solidyn, he has served companies such as General Dynamics, GDE Systems, Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp, Nichols Research Corporation, and Paragon Dynamics, Inc. 

In addition to other areas of expertise, Michael maintains top-level skills in project management, systems engineering, systems architecture, and software development, all of which help guide the vision and direction of Solidyn.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He co-founded Solidyn Solutions, Inc. in 2004 with a vision for assembling a team comprised of the very best-of-the-best; a group of motivated, technically- and managerially-proficient engineering professionals, dedicated to the success of the missions they support. Based on the desire to provide the best systems for our nation’s missions, this vision has become a reality at Solidyn, which now maintains annual revenues of $13M.

Michael has extended his entrepreneurial drive and vision of excellence in other areas as well. He has created multiple companies involved in residential and multi-family real estate investing and residential property management, with a mission to help people realize their dreams and pay it forward.

J. Andrew Marshall – Co-Owner and Vice President

Vice-President and Co-Owner of Solidyn Solutions, Inc., J. Andrew Marshall has over 25 years of experience in the aerospace industry with such organizations as NASA, Lockheed-Martin, Hughes, Advent Systems, and Paragon Dynamics, Inc. His expertise spans the full program lifecycle, including systems engineering, software development, integration, test and program management.  He holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado, as well as a Master of Science in Meteorology from the University of Maryland.

Andrew is passionate about making a difference in every pursuit he undertakes. Solidyn Solutions reflects this passion.  From inception, Solidyn sought only the highest caliber individuals to become members of the company. Solidyn's culture motivates these team members to put forth their best effort in every task and to find the optimal solution to difficult challenges.  As a whole, this means the company delivers superior performance to its customers, and to the country, at very competitive rates. This passion to make a difference extends to the community as well.  Andrew is a member of Leadership Denver ‘14, Leadership Denver is a 40-year-old program that develops community leaders and enhances the civic infrastructure of the Denver Metro region. It brings together leaders to discuss and learn about the challenges facing the Denver Metro area for the purpose of expanding their commitment to voluntary civic responsibility.

Andrew is a Colorado native who attended Wheat Ridge High School. He and his wife, also a Colorado native, are the proud parents of 3 children.

 

Dawn Marshall – Manager of Finance

Manager of Finance, Dawn Marshall is responsible for the daily accounting and human resource functions of Solidyn.  Dawn has 25 years of experience in the fields of accounting and finance.  She has worked in industry in the fields of construction, telecommunications, and waste management.  Prior to joining Solidyn, she spent 13 years working in public accounting specializing in corporate tax and small business consulting. 

Dawn holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Finance from University of Colorado and obtained her CPA certification in 1996.

Dawn is the proud mother of three children and spends her spare time as a Board member at her local school and serving as a client advocate for low income and homeless families in Jefferson County.  She also continues to train in the martial arts.

 

 

 

 

 

Darlene Catbagan – Manager of Human Resources 

Manager of Human Resources, Darlene Catbagan is responsible for the day-to-day Operations and Talent Acquisition for the HR Department. With over 15 years of experience in Human Resources, Darlene has worked in the technology, meteorology and healthcare industries, and holds certifications from the HR Certification Institute and Society of Human Resources Management. Prior to joining Solidyn, she worked as a consultant for Mountain States Employers Council, during which Solidyn was one of her clients.

Darlene grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, but has lived in Colorado most of her adult life. She and her husband have two sons, with her elder son following in mom’s HR professional footsteps.
